She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Stewart and Ivah Stewart (Chandler); her husband Richard L. Denger; her children, Richard S. "Rick" Denger and Dawn Black; and her sister Evelyn Francis.
She is survived by: her daughter Beth Denger-Shaw of Davenport; her grandchildren, Sara Meyer (Casey), Elizabeth Sabel (Bill), Tony Black (Karin), Andrea Butikofer (Aaron), Alison Preslan (Kevin), Amanda Christensen (Chad) and Kaylee Baumer (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Jaelyn, Isaac, Drew, Xander, Shelby, Aubrey, Finley, Walker, Reagan, Will and Kennedy; and her daughter-in-law Betty Denger of Davenport. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Davenport Central High School Foundation, the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital or the First Evangelical Free Church of Moline where she was a member.
