It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Darlene Davis (Davenport, Iowa), born in Mediapolis, Iowa, who passed away on July 31, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oscar Schweitzer and Mable Mae Schweitzer (Vincent); her husband Leo Lee Davis; her friend Linda; her children, Sharon Woodside, Wayne Davis (Cheryl), Billy Davis (Dawn) and Charles Davis; and her brother Leonard Schweitzer.
