She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Dick" Merrill and MaryAnn Rose Hensel (Marks); and her in-laws, William and Patricia Miller. She is survived by: her husband Thomas John Miller; her children, Valerie, Lee and Kevin Miller; her grandchildren, Brock Atwood, Aviana Rice-Miller, Cody Atwood and Isabella Spidle; and her brother James Hensel (Kate). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.
