He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard J. Lemek and Maureen T. Lemek (Bateman); and his sister-in-law Jessica Lemek (Donald). He is survived by: his siblings, Theresa Lemek, Christine Clements (Paul), David Lemek (Maura Quinn), Virginia, Brian Lemek (Elizabeth), Donald Lemek, Annette Lemek (Beth Simpson) and Tony Lemek (Carla Garcia-Rivas). He is also survived by nineteen nieces and nephews.
He was recently recognized for his artistic talents with a personal exhibit at the Figge Museum's "Memories in the Making" benefiting the Alzheimer's Association.
