As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Sondra may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Tyrone C. Seals and Vicky A. Seals-Sanders (Duane A. Whitis, Sr.). She is survived by: her husband McKinley Roby of Coralville; her sons, Duane A. Whitis of Davenport, Delario F. Skipper of Marian and Julien M. Skipper of Davenport; and her siblings, Larry Seals, Jr. (Roxanne) of Davenport, Robert Horton of Davenport and Tina Seals of Davenport. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church (805 Adams St, Waterloo, IA 50703). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
