She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hamilton and Leah Hamilton (Davidson); her husband Larry Brackeen; and her son Dennis Strickland. She is survived by: her sons, Ken Strickland of Mississippi and Robert J. Strickland, Jr. (Dena) of Davenport; and her siblings, Bobby Hamilton and Gerri Gentles. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
