He is survived by: his wife Dana Schaeffer; his children, Christine Hetherington (Phillip) of Sugar Land, TX, Cheryl Cavanaugh of Broomfield, CO, Matthew Cavanaugh of Davenport and Amy Chally (Jonathan) of Lafayette, CO; his grandchildren, Matthew, Johnathan, Andrew Hetherington, Samuel, Thomas Crist, Meghan and Taylor Chally; and his siblings, Cathleen Vaske, Joan Lang, Jim Cavanaugh (Ann) and Donna Blazek (George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
