He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carpenter and Frances Carpenter (Haines); and his siblings, Gladys, Mardy, John, Catherine and Thomas "Pat".
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his daughters, Christine Lorenz (Terry) and Susan Stalder (Ron); his grandchildren, Phillip, Blake (Sarah), Rachel and Troy (Danielle); and his great grandchildren, Nicholas and Oliver.
