She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Wilkins and Mevie C. Wilkins; her spouse Apolonio Chavez, Jr.; her siblings, Margie Madden, Warren (Jack), Chester and Glen Wilkins; and her siblings-in-law, Eva Kiss and Eliseo Chavez.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Chavez and D. C.; her daughter-in-law Sheryl Chavez; and her stepgrandchildren, Steven, Joseph and Kirsten. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803).
