He was predeceased by: his parents, Terrance McDonnell and Marie McDonnell (Kelley); his brother Terry McDonnell; and his son-in-law James Hepler. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Menes; his children, Diana Hepler, Elizabeth Phillips and Michael McDonnell (Lindsay); and his siblings, Susan Chamberlain and Ed McDonnell. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
