With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norbert Pranger of Davenport, Iowa, born in Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on December 25, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen J. Pranger and Clara Pranger (Bentler); and his sister Phyllis Pollpeter. He is survived by: his wife Judith K. Menke; his children, Barbara Park of Davenport and Robert Pranger (Maria); his grandchildren, Kathryn Van Besien (Josh), Gabrielle Elsbernd (Kenzie), Luke, Michael, Daniel, John, Gina, Vincent, Christopher, Dominic, Jakob, Anthony, George Pranger, Elizabeth and Andrew Park; his great grandchildren, Anna and Augustine Van Besien; and his siblings, Arthur (Mary Jo), Barb (Les), Ralph (Carol), Maurice (Barb) and Sandra (Dick).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Pius X Seminary of the Archdiocese of Dubuque where two of Norb's grandsons are studying for the priesthood.
