He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster E. "Mac" and Margaret F. McIllece (Cannon); his brother Patrick; his daughter Terry Hughes; and his grandsons, Justin Miller and Devin Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Dottie J. Leslie; and his children, Eric McIllece of Davenport, Wendy Lewis (Marc) of Davenport, Cathy Gustafson (Patrick) of Clarksville and Debora Miller of Davenport. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 9128 in Bettendorf.
