She is survived by: her children, April Malkewitz (Blount), Amber Polak (Rob), Rachel Malkewitz (Ryan Hayes) and Caleb Malkewitz (Sydney Ksor); her stepdaughters, April Murrell-Toby (Charlie) and Sarah Schutte (Brian); her siblings, Shawn Kromminga (Shelly), Chad Kromminga (Kari), Aimee Ratliff (Bobby) and Amanda Stastny (Eric Benesh); her former husband Walter Malkewitz; and her husband Steve Murrell.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ss Peter and Paul Lutheran Church (21069 Prairie Hill Rd, Monticello, IA 52310). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the same location.
