With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Sue Shenk of Davenport, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 30, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Rogers and Leona Rogers (Parris); her husband John D. Shenk; her brother Lon Rogers; her brother-in-law James Shenk; and her nephews, Paul Klundt and Christopher Shenk.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amanda Kimbrough (Ross) of Overland Park, KS, Carrie Larson (Chad), Emily Shenk (John) and DeMay; her grandchildren, Branden, Jonathan, Mackenzie, Tristan and Eliana; her great grandchildren, Leah, Noah and Parker; her sister Ruth Klundt of Hillsdale, IL; her nieces and nephews, Melissa, Mark, Scott, Andy and Mickey; and her sisters-in-law, Sandy Rogers and Penny Shenk. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children, or Wounded Warrior Project.
