It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ruefer (Davenport, Iowa), born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on August 22, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy St and Mary St (Murphy); her husband Eugene "Gene" Ruefer; her brother Joe St. Onge; her niece Beth Ann Hasley Drone; her daughter-in-law Paula Ruefer (Tim); and her stepgranddaughter Julie Cawley.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Ruefer (Paula), Timothy Ruefer, Rock Isand, Cathy Van Fossen (Jim), Susan Smith (Fred), Annette Nisley (Tim), Nancy Ruefer and Colleen "CoCo" Mansfield (Marty); and her sister Irene Hasley. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren.
