He was predeceased by: his father William J. Schiltz; his brother-in-law Greg Stahler; and his nephew Drew Stahler. He is survived by: his mother Jane E. Schiltz (Dyer); his wife Moo; his siblings, Ron Schiltz (Sally Ruggeberg), LeClaire, Dr. Myra Daniel (Mike) and David (Tami); and his sisters-in-law, Angelita Stahler, Teresa "Teri" Glover (Keith), Lisa Pinkerton and Maria Osness of Carrollton, Texas. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces and friends.
Memorials may be made to Assumption High School or St. Ambrose University.
