Marian left this world on November 12, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Matzen and Marion Matzen (Grell); her husband Leonard; and her sister Lois Alpen. She is survived by: her children, JoDee Olsen (Jeff) of Prophetstown, Jill Lewis (Greg) of Tuscon, Arizona, Greg Finck (Lori) of Manhatten, Montana and Doug Finck (Michelle) of Gary, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jessica, Kent, Dane, Kendal, Dustin, Katie and Lena; her great grandchild Wrenley; and her sister Linda Splatt of St. Paul, Minnesota. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (300 W 3rd St, Prophetstown, IL 61277). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Durant Cemetery (1317 3rd St, Durant, IA 52747).
