She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas M. Glancy and Anna Irene Glancy (Powers); her husband Michael J. Gimbel, Sr. of Mary's Catholic Church; her daughter-in-law Mary Anne Gimbel; her brothers, Thomas, Raymond and Patrick Glancy; and her siblings-in-law, Kay, Jean Marie Glancy, Russell Thies and Jack Matson.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Irene Pitcher (George) of Bettendorf, Dr. Michael J. Gimbel II (Ruthann) of Bettendorf, Kathleen Ott (Richard), Dr. James Gimbel (Sandy) and Patricia Tunink (Paul); her sister A. Eileen Matson; and her sister-in-law Judy Glancy. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
