He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Turnquist and Hortense Turnquist (Silberstein); his wife Phyllis Ann Ahlgren; his grandson Raymond; and his sisters, Mary Verkler and Shirley Wagner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Katrina Coffey of Omaha, NE, Pamela Turnquist of Bettendorf, Cindy Plaster (Stan) of Davenport, Penny Turnquist (Kevin) of DeWitt, Yvonne Mudd (Jerry) of Rockford, IL and Yvette Turnquist; and his brother Richard Turnquist of Centerville, IA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
