We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2021, Leroy McDowell of Davenport, Iowa, born in Greenville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenza McDowell and Leola McDowell (Ray); his brothers, Lemon McDowell and Leon "Tony" McDowell; and his grandchildren, Rondell McDowell, Tiffany Banks, Judge Hare, Shaniia McDowell and Zoey Starks.

He is survived by: his wife Eva Grace McQuay; his children, Ronald McDowell (Tina) of Davenport, Charles McDowell of Davenport, Georgia of Davenport, Cherie McDowell of Davenport, Randy McDowell of Davenport and Anita McDowell of Davenport; and his sister Lola Thomas. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
