With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leo Edward Ruth of Davenport, Iowa, born in Riverside, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Ruth and Bertha Ruth (Bulgar); his spouse Shirley Prochaska; and his siblings, Richard, Bob, Don, Catherine, Paul, Eleanor and Rita.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Cale (Richard) of Davenport, Debra Jones (Steve Dohse) of Davenport, Chuck Ruth (Cindy) of Ely, Annette Tomlinson (Michael) of Eldridge, Michele Manion (Dennis) of Bettendorf and Clint Ruth (Jennifer) of Eldridge; and his siblings, Janie Marek of Kalona, Mary Marek of Hills and Gene Ruth (Dorris) of Hills. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
