With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kim J. Fugate of Davenport, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kim left this world on April 21, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Albert and Violet Arline Fugate (McGovern); her close friend Don Grondo; her siblings, Larry, Terry and Pam Alcala; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Guy and Russ Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Mandy Courter (Scott) of Davenport; her grandchildren, Alex Lamp (Jaleesa) of Clinton, Audree Moore (Skylar) of Walcott and Noah Hensley of Iowa City; her great grandchildren, Boadhi, Cassidy, Adeleigh and Bexley; her sisters, Marlene Guy of Davenport, Cheryl Anderson of Davenport and Cindy Fugate of Davenport; her siblings-in-law, Pat Fugate of Davenport and Mark Alcala of New Mexico; and her close friend Mickie Burton.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
