It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Paul Thorndyke of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Thorndyke and Crystal May Thorndyke (Miller); his mother-in-law Mary Lou Snyder; and his wife Mary Lou (Lee). He is survived by: his children, Julie Ann Franklin (Mike), Paul Thorndyke (Ann) of Altoona, IA and Daniel Thorndyke (Amber) of Donahue, IA; his grandchildren, Michael Jr. Franklin (Kimberly), Tammy Wiserock (Jim), Sharon Meoni (Neil), Benjamin Franklin (Melia), Paul Thorndyke (Jennifer), Stephanie Baustian (Lewis), Maryssa Dunn (Jon), Shanna Bernauer (Thomas) and Soraya Thorndyke; his siblings, Jessie Morris (Larry) and Myra Halsey; and his brother-in-law Harve Sultan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the Izaak Walton League or the Walcott American Legion.
