He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Lensmeyer; his daughter-in-law Jane Kroening; his grandchildren, Ryan Lensmeyer (Wendy), Brandon Lensmeyer (Jenica), Jenna Beatty (Cory), Michael Kroening and Emily Kroening; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Jaylen, Brecken, Kynli, Tatem, Lawson, Dax and Everett; his brother Christian Kroening (Gerda) of Germany; and his sister-in-law Susan Knuth.

Memorials may be made to Clarissa Cook Hospice House.
