We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joyce E. Dormire of Davenport, Iowa, born in Piqua, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Joyce farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joyce is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Hardesty and Florence Hardesty (South); her husband David Dormire; and her siblings, David Hardesty and Doris Gosselin.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Dormire, Sue Braafhart (Brian) and Becky Everetts. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and nieces & nephews.
Memorials in her honor can be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research or the American Diabetes Association.
