We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2024, at the age of 85, Joy M. Strasser of Davenport, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester George and Winona Barfels (Plaehn); her husband Vernon Strasser; her son Lester Strohm; and her brother Jay Barfels.
She is survived by: her daughter Maggie Hsu (Brian Mumm) of Davenport; her stepdaughter Luella Strasser of Marshalltown, Iowa; her grandchildren, Cody Hsu, Destini Beatty (John), Baylee Anderson, Abbigayle Conner, Ashten Songer, Brook Strohm, Krystal Stathiou (Nicholas), Ronnie Blasco (Tom) and Anthony Wixom; and her sister Kay Weiss of Reinbeck, Iowa.. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
