With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph J. Snyder of Davenport, Iowa, born in Elwood, Indiana, who passed away on August 8, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Snyder and Margaret Snyder (Renshaw); and his wife Mary Kay Brink. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Williams (Scott) of Davenport, Julie Snyder of Davenport, Chris Snyder (Maureen) of Ames and Jeff Snyder of Chicago; his granddaughters, Meg Tompkins (Paul), Brooke Donelson (Chris), Olivia Foegen (A. J.), Emma Williams, Grace Snyder (Ethan Leech) and Anna Snyder; his great grandchildren, Griffin, Ivy, Fredrick, Eden and Violet; and his sisters, Judy Thomison (Bill) of Dallas, Kathy Moulder of Kokomo, IN and Mary Ellen Snyder (Nancy Lachus) of Chicago.
