With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Johnnie Darrel Glaspie of Davenport, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Johnnie Darrel left this world on December 18, 2024 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Glaspie and Marcella Glaspie (Van Gorder); his wife Sylvia Kay Meador; and his sister Alice. He is survived by: his children, Bobbie (Angela) and Brian Wheeler (Sharyl); his siblings, Red, Joe and Betty Lou; and his close friends, Darryl and Steve. He is also survived by four grandkids; six great grandkids; and three grand pups.
