He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Levera Santee, II (Bergert); his siblings, Gene, Gerald and Frances Fedrick (Davenport); and his niece Molly Santee.

He is survived by: his children, Jamey Santee of Windsor, CA and Sheri Santee of Ukiah, CA; his friend Alice Welsh; his siblings, Lloyd and Phyllis Hoffmanm; and his nieces, Wendy Dunn, Gina Santee and Eldridge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus in John's memory.
