He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Margaret (Kenny) and John J. Morrissey, Sr.; and his brother Msgr. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, John "Jay" Morrissey (Cheryl), Peggy Burdick (Mitchell) and Thomas Morrissey (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ben, Katie, Carolyn Morrissey (Austin Pluff), Luke Burdick, Sarah, John "Jack" and Danny Morrissey; his brother Tim Morrissey (Susan); and his sister-in-law Barbara Morrissey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
