It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hinckley of Davenport, Iowa, born in Cedar Falls, Iowa, who passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Durward Hinckley and BettyLee Hinckley (Viers); his stepdaughter Tina Olson; and his sister Mary Owens. He is survived by: his children, James Hinckley (Cheryl) of Fairfield, Tanya Richardson (James) of Davenport and Shannon Lausen (Jason Bramlett) of Davenport; and his siblings, Robert Hinckley of Lafayette and Paula Lane (Keith) of Crawfordville, Florida.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
