He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Moffit and Mary Margaret Moffit (Fisher); and his brothers, Charles and Bill Moffit. He is survived by: his children, Scott, Jay Moffit of Mechanicsville and Jill Williams (Greg) of Monticello; and his sister Janell Copsin (Dave).
