With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnn Jeanette Franzen of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on October 9, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to JoAnn Jeanette's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration JoAnn Jeanette has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest James and Louise James; her husband Norwood "Woody" Franzen; and her sisters, Joyce Ketelsen and Jean Mumm.
She is survived by: her former husband Duane Ockerman; and her sons, Michael Ockerman of Blue Grass, Thomas Ockerman (Kristin) of Davenport and Ken Ockerman (Sally) of Eldridge. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
