It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan J. Tallman (Davenport, Iowa), who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Marie Reich Wiese Ruefer; her husband David J. Tallman of Anthony's Church; her parent Marie Riech Wiese Ruefer; her stepfather Alvin Ruefer; and her brother Nade Wiese (Jean).
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Trumbo (Steve), Jill Schilling of Carlsbad, CA, Jeff Tallman of Scottsdale, AZ, Dan Tallman (Karen) of Pleasant Valley, IA and David Tallman; her grandchildren, Matt Trumbo, KC Trumbo, Shannon Callahan, Adam Schilling, Allyson Tallman, Kevin Nguyen, Patrick Tallman, Jacob Tallman, Tabitha Tallman, Isabella Tallman and Olivia Bull; her great grandchildren, Taylor Trumbo (Haley), Kaylee Trumbo, Kayden Trumbo and Spencer Nguyen; and her great great grandchild Brody Trumbo. She is also survived by 3 nieces; 4 nephews; 3 sister-in- laws.
