He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolland Cherry and Mary Richardson; and his siblings, George Cherry, Roy Lee Richardson and Charlon Johnnson.
He is survived by: his wife Katrina Johnson; his children, Jerry Bomar (Donneshia White) of Davenport, Tyronda Harrison of Flint, Tierre Johnson (Avionna Lewis-Tot) of Moline, Tyrese Ballard (Kayla Wiseman) of Davenport and Omarion Ballard of Davenport; and his brother Rolland Cherry of Rock Island. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
