We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2025, at the age of 79, Jerry L. Thurman of Davenport, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Thurman and Leola Thurman (Ramm); his daughter Dawn Thurman; and his sisters, Peggy Forrester and Martha Knabe.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Jody Thurman (Lisa) of Silvis and Shannon Keckler (George) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Joshua Thurman (Jessica), Joseph Thurman, Briahna Burge (Colton), Anthony Keckler and Hannah Keckler; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Laila, Ava, Jo, Nolen Thurman, Andrew Burge, Brooks Mussmann and Harlow Mussmann; and his pet Elle Mae.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Horizon Room at Trimble Pointe (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Moody Bible Institute, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or Wounded Warrior Project.
