It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Elizabeth Schneckloth of Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Jean is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jean's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius Werthmann and Leona Werthmann; her husband Leroy Schneckloth; her brother Alvin "Bud" Werthmann; and her siblings-in-law, Elenor Werthmann, Gene Schneckloth and Norman Olsen.
She is survived by: her siblings, Janice Olsen, JoAnne Rekemeyer (Dallas), Joyce Schneckloth and Allan Werthmann (Pat). She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews, and many extended family.
Memorials may be made in Jean's name to Wounded Warriors.
