It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Sue Peterson (Davenport, Iowa), born in Atlanta, Missouri, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Farmer and Anna Lou Thompson Farmer. She is survived by: her husband Dr. C. L. Peterson; her children, Brad Peterson of Davenport, Janan Rustan (Dan) of Iowa City, Eric Peterson (Jennifer) of Fort Collins, CO and Ryan Peterson (Mary) of Johns Creek, GA; her grandchildren, Holli Whitacre, Max Rustan, Alyssa Peterson, Nolan Peterson, Ella Peterson, Addy Peterson, Grant Rustan, Luke Rustan, Owen Peterson and Nora Peterson; and her great grandchildren, Connor, Kinnick, Carter, Autumn, Aurora and Kade. She is also survived by loving cousins and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Davenport or the Colonel Davenport Historical Foundation.
