James Reimers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Reimers of Davenport, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Reimers to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Reimers and Eleanor Reimers (Rottman); his son Jesse; his sisters, Juanita Smith, Shirley Bland and Janet Baker; and his brothers-in-law, Al Peters, David King and Clem Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Telsrow; his children, JoDee Malone (Ally) of Rock Island and Jeffrey Reimers of Davenport; his grandchildren, Jeremy Elliott-Malone, Aliza Malone (Trevor Pickett), Presley Reimers (Jerod Samuelson), Toni Reimers, Harmony and Melody Reimers; his great grandchildren, Noah, Jace, Jasmine and Leo James; and his siblings, Richard Reimers of Iowa City, Donna Peters of Durant and Kay King of Durant.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bentley Funeral Home - Durant (1001 6th St, Durant, IA 52747). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
