He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schellhammer and Frances Schellhammer; and his son Brian. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; and his daughter Mary of Boulder, Colorado..
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Center (1413 E 17th St, Bloomington, IN 47408).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his memory to St. Vincent, DePaul Association (1999 N Packing House Road, Bloomington, IN 47404) or Bloomington Meals on Wheels (c/o Bloomington Health, PO Box 249, Bloomington NI 47402).
