With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James McAtee (Davenport, Iowa), born in Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on September 16, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Guy and Lorraine McAtee (Mallory); and his siblings, JoAnn, Phyllis and Billy McAtee.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Cindy Reyes (Nick), Terry McAtee (Anne), Chris McAtee (Dawn), David "Davey" McAtee (Joan) and Michelle Hardt (John); his grandchildren, Robbie Hill (Christine), Joey Hill (Jennifer), Emily Hill, Dr. Hannah McAtee, Annabel McAtee, Georgia, Sarah, Matthew McAtee, Brandan McAtee (Katy), Adam McAtee (Megan), Aaron McAtee, Seamus and Tessa Hardt; his great grandchildren, Bradley, Erin, Connor Hill, Harper and Theo McAtee; and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Breja of Belle Plaine, Fran Kozik of Belle Plaine and Barb Rychnovsky of Belle Plaine.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Handicapped Development Center, or Assumption High School.
