He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel F. Stroyan and Doris Mae Stroyan (Wheeler); his brothers, Richard "Dick" Stroyan and Robert C. "Bob" Stroyan; his children, Jerry Stroyan and Dana Jacobsen; his son-in-law Mike Jacobsen; and his grandsons, Jacob Jacobsen and Donnie Sisco.
He is survived by: his wife Janyce Stanlake; and his children, Michael Stroyan (Betty), Linda Trettin, Ron Stroyan (Jackie) and Darla Baxter (Joe). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
