He is survived by: his children, Nicole Malandri (Robert) of Lakewood and Jeremy Determan (Lisa) of Beaverton, Oregon; his grandson Quinn Determan; and his sisters, Mary Rife of Davenport, Carol Ehlers (Clark) of Davenport and Denise Schroeder (Gary) of Bryant.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Lung Association, American Heart Association or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
