She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Everett and Virginia Reddick (Weichman); her husbands, Daniel Whitney and Clarence Shane; her brothers, Leroy Reddick, Junior Reddick and Ralph Reddick; her son-in-law Larry Emmer; her grandson Michael Whitney; her great grandchildren, Kegan Whitney and Linda Tucker; her nieces, Theresa Shlue and Candy Lang; and her nephew Larry Lang.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Emmer of Davenport, Judith Ann Whitney of Davenport, Martha Sweetland of Davenport, Roger Whitney (Jodi) of Davenport, Carl Whitney (Mary Hufford) of Rock Island, Robert Whitney (Linda) of Davenport and Daniel Whitney of Cherokee, IA; and her sisters, Judy Flynn of Davenport and Irene Lang of Davenport. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mark's Anglican Church (1550 7th Ave, Silvis, IL 61282). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
