She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Jones and Ester Jones (Applegate); her husband Virgil H. Smith; and her brother Earl. She is survived by: her children, Barry Smith (Nicole), Roxanna Bernauer (Jerry) and Vince Smith (Monica); her grandchildren, A. J., Zach, Daniel, Lucas, Jacob, Lisa, Donald, Evan and Jamey; her great grandchildren, Eira and Eli; and her sisters, Marilyn, Carol, Elaine and Arlene. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Runge Mortuary Chapel (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807).
Memorials may be made in Hazel's name to the Moline Church of Christ.
