He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Vieth and Irene Vieth (Horn); and his siblings, G. Duane "Bud" Vieth and Marjorie Kimmel. He is survived by: his wife Jane Bettendorf; his children, George Vieth, Jr. (Laurie), Charlie Vieth (Claudia), Tom Vieth (Susan), Bourdeilles, France and Carolyn Langham (Brian); and his grandchildren, Emily Singer (Chad), Tom Vieth (Kerry), Irene Vieth, Charles Vieth, Jr., Caitlin Vieth, William Vieth (Emily), Jane Bauer (Ryan) and Jackson Langham (Michaela). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
