He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene McDaniel and Lala McDaniel (Fox); and his siblings, Bill, Paul, Don, Jerry, Joe McDaniel, Phyllis Williams and Barbara Wyant.
He is survived by: his former wife Annegrete Rohwer; his pets, Molly, Addie and Gunter; his wife Anne McDaniel; his children, Michael McDaniel and Kimberly Morrissey (Jim); his grandsons, Parker James and Connor Michael; and his siblings, Harold McDaniel (Carol) and Sandy Sweetland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
