She was predeceased by: her parents, Jens, Jr. Nielsen and Marilyn Nielsen (Gravert); her husband Randy D. Wood; her stepfather Theodore Johnston; her brother Mike Nielsen; her brother-in-law Dennis Woody Wood; and her in-laws, Hap and Mary Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew Wood (Karalee) and Holly Wood-Carpenter (Andrew); her grandchildren, Cole and Ellie Carpenter; her son Marcus "Pookie" Womack; her brother Sam Nielsen (Robin); and her siblings-in-law, Deb Dvorak (Norm), Janis Gow (Tom), Terry Wood (George Parze) and Ron Wood (Jan).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Runge Mortuary Chapel (838 E Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52807). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in her honor to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
