He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Beecher (Powell) and Leon Beecher; his former wife Sue; and his brother Bert Beecher. He is survived by: his wife Jo (Arthur) of Davenport; his son Mike Beecher (Michelle) of Palatine, IL; his grandsons, Michael Beecher (Debbie) and Matthew Beecher; his daughter Susan Haan (Gerry) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Gerry Haan (Melanie), Katie Duncan (Creighton) and Jessica Kluever (Jason); his son David Beecher (Becky) of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Nic Beecher (Taylor), Alex Beecher (Andrea), Asya Reid (Jarid), Addy Beecher, Tony Sturgell (Abby) and Tim Sturgell (Katie); his great grandchild Matthew Beecher (Lisa) of Davenport; and also, Emily Beecher Schmidt (Zach), Aleah and Ben Beecher. He is also survived by his children's sports and cheered on his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
