She is survived by: her daughter Theresa Thede (Alan, Jr.); her grandchildren, Tabitha Kruger (Brian), Amber Cashen (Jacob) and Lauren Miller (Peter Jr.); and her great grandchildren, Emery, Autumn, Brooklynn, Sydney, Hayden and Peter III.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Vietnam Veterans of America, the American Alzheimer's Association, or the Scott County Humane Society.
